In 1925, the Haléř Association of Glassmakers in Jablonec nad Nisou financed a convalescent home for its guild members from its fund. Construction took place between 1933 and 1935. It served its function until 1948, when it was subsequently nationalized, and the building was converted into a municipal school. It served as a school for 80 years. After the revolutionary period, the building was privatized by a significant Czech-Dutch company and reconstructed into a hotel. Operating under the name Parkhotel Bohemia, it was run by this company until 2008. In 2009, the building was auctioned off and gradually reconstructed under the name HOTEL BERG, with adjacent land also acquired.
